to get the best out of your studio time " Rehearse, rehearse and rehearse
again come into the studio with everyone knowing the arrangement and what
is expected of them. " Put new strings on the guitar and stretch them
in make sure your instrument can stay in tune. " Decide which songs you
want to record and have a couple in reserve " Know the words and the chords
and have them written out if you need to.

happens at the session 3 Hours in the studio

You
arrive and set up
We need time to balance the drum mikes and connect up al the instrument
The we will need to get a headphone balance for each player
We make a test recording to check the levels

record the backing tracks and guide vocal |

Prepare
the studio for vocal tracking
Over dub the lead vocals and any harmony parts
Break down and pack away

Mixdown
and mastering (3 hours production time)
Our
engineer will then back up your tracks

Edit
out any count in's ect and generally clean up the drum sound for
spill
Balance the sound and position the instruments access the sound
stage
Apply compression and effect's to make it sound professional

| Master
the mix down into stereo and burn you a CD Master to copy from |
